About This

• Weight-Activated Squirrel Defense: Each feeding port of the squirrel proof bird feeders sits on a spring-loaded perch calibrated for small birds. A finch or chickadee lands and the port stays open. A squirrel steps on — its weight closes the port shut.
• 3.5 LB Capacity, Visible Seed Chamber: The cutout metal tube holds up to 3.5 pounds of black oil sunflower seeds — millet, sorghum, shelled peanuts, sunflower, thistle, or nyjer (Mixed seed capacity is slightly smaller). Check the seed level through the cage without opening the lid.
• Built for Rain and Snow: An anti-rust powder coating covers the frame from base to roof. Two drainage holes in the base of the finch feeders for outside let moisture escape after storms, keeping seed dry through fall and winter.
• Quick-Release Base for Faster Refills: Twist and pull to detach the bottom in seconds — no tools needed. Empty old husks, rinse the base, and refill with thistle, nyjer, millet, or a mixed blend before setting it back in place.
• Feeds a Wide Range of Backyard Birds: This 14.5 x 14.5 x 39 cm (5.7 x 5.7 x 15.4 inch) metal tube feeder draws finches, cardinals, chickadees, titmice, sparrows, and nuthatches. A reinforced steel hook holds it steady on a branch, post, or feeder pole.
